for drums, personally i use the FPC sound on the FL Studio download available for free. Its not the best, but hey its decent. the program EZ drummer gets a lot of jive from everyone but its notfree.

again a very wise guitarist once taught me a little distortion is whats best. Metallica and mega deth don't use lot of distortion. You bass rif was catchy. But, you should really get some drums. IT would really help the song

Yeah, I've been hurting to come up with a way to do drums for a while now. I use Audacity. It doesn't have any sort of programmable drums, and recording acoustic drums is not only a cruel bitch. But, just finding the time to book a session at my compadre's studio with a drummer is as much a bitch as recording the drums themselves.

Any help there would be appreciated.

what a great guitarist once told me... keep it simple. Your riff just didn't quite make a good flow. I find good loops to be composed of simple power chords and a drum machine. then you can shred over that and make something awesome to listen to. but again. just me.

eh...

your songs are good.
I can definitely hear the great musicianship of classic rock.
But the production is not so great... especially on your live recordings. I wouldn't ever want to dowload and listen to any of your stuff unless it was mastered in a studio. This Particular recording sounds lie the quality you would hear in the 70's with analog recording.

that guitar sound you are using is awful. lol. DVS guitar is decent.
but, your beat was more... ungothrockic. (lack of a better term.)
But, with heavier beats, better guitar, your keyboard riffs are definitely true to their color. Your song would be sick.
